We stayed for nine nights at the Keio Presso Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were courteous and made sure our stay was confortable . The location is excellent as it is a short walk to Shinjuku station but outside of the nolisy centre around the station. So a bit quiet. Being close to the station meant it was easy to access other areas of Tokyo and surrounding tourist attractions. The breakfast provided different dishes each day, built around a basic menu, and so never became boring. Western style food such as pastries were also provided althlough most of the clientelle were locals or Asian visitors. Even though we were there for some time we were provided with fresh towels each day and a cleaning schedule of the room every three days which meant we could come and go without disturbing or being disturbed by staff. They even held our baggage for us when we were away for a night as we left the area.

Property is located about 10 to 12 minutes straight walk along a main road from Shinjuku Station. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel. It is located in a central area with multiple office and government buildings around. Staff are very helpful and in case don't understand what you need, they use an electronic translator. I had booked a smoking room. While the room was small like most other hotel rooms in Tokyo, it was more than enough for me as a solo traveller. I could open the window in my room which was nice. The kettle in my room was in one of the desk drawers and I only discovered it on the second day of my stay :-) Anyway, did not have to go down to the conveniently located 'Lawson' supermarket on the ground floor for my morning coffee thereafter.

The hotel's location really can't be beaten at this price point, at just over a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku station, you have access to the rest of the city. The free breakfast was surprisingly good, and if you weren't feeling the hotel breakfast, the Lawson underneath the hotel was very handy. The room was clean and staff were extremely friendly. It doesn't have many added bonuses beyond that, but they did the simple stuff perfectly, making at a steal by Tokyo standards.

Breakfast has both Western and Japanese selections. Comfortable bed and bedding. There is a Japanese style window shutter that blocks the morning sun, so one can sleep in. A 100 yen bus takes you to Shinjuku station. Pretty close to Washington Hotel food court with many eateries! From Haneda Airport, one can take the Airport Limousine, get off at Washington Hotel, and cut through the Washington Hitel to Keio Presso Inn. God helped me to find this shortcut!

- A good spread of food for breakfast. - I also requested for 2 rooms to be close together, which they managed to do so by putting our 2 rooms side by side. - Staff was helpful when I needed assistance to forward my luggage to the next destination. - Though the room is admittedly small, it is efficiently designed and you could store your luggage under the bed. - There's a convenience store at the ground floor of the hotel.
